All caregivers are invited to build a support system with people who understand. This caregiver support group, conducted by trained facilitators, is a safe place for those caring for individuals with any disease to: develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions, talk through issues and ways of coping, share feelings, needs and concerns, and also learn about community resources. The group will meet at the Hazen Senior Center (21 7th St NW, Hazen) the last Tuesday of each month from 2-3p.m., starting January 31, 2023. Youth Wellness Exams + Sports Physicals
Throughout July, Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding preventive wellness exams and/or sports physical for children and adolescents needing sports physicals for the 2025-2026 school year. When calling your preferred clinic to schedule your youth wellness exam, please indicate if you want a sports physical only. Most insurances cover a wellness/preventive exam that includes a sports physical. If you want a sports physical only, the cost is $40 at the time of the visit.
