Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8 hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Training is Friday, May 3rd from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. CT at Sakakawea Medical Center. Free if you live in the service area, $50 for out of service area. Youth Wellness Exams Offered at Beulah & Hazen School Clinics
Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding preventative wellness exams for students in PreK-12th grade in May. A wellness exam may include a sports physical for the 2023-2024 school year if requested. The sports physical will be valid through the 2024 school year.
