Youth Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8 hour public education program which introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in adolescents, builds understanding of the importance of early intervention, and teaches individuals how to help an adolescent in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge. Training is Friday, May 3rd from 8 a.m. ‐ 5 p.m. CT at Sakakawea Medical Center. Free if you live in the service area, $50 for out of service area. These providers are now certified to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).

CCCHC Awarded Grant from the Offutt Family Foundation and R.D. Offutt Company
Coal Country Community Health Center was recently selected as a recipient of a special Community Builder grant from the Offutt Family Foundation and R.D. Offutt Company. The Community Builder program is a unique initiative designed to support charitable organizations and nonprofits that RDO team members are passionate about and serve the greater good in their communities. This year’s program focused on supporting youth mental health nonprofits.
