Stepping On is a 7‐week workshop that has been researched and proven to reduce falls in older people. The workshop will be held at the Energy Wellness Center in Beulah and will meet on Wednesday, April 3 to May 15; 10 a.m. ‐ 12 p.m. The workshop is FREE for adults 60 years and older. CCCHC hires new LMSW
Coal Country Community Health Center recently hired Dan Foster, Licensed Master Social Worker. Dan will primarily serve students in the I.M.P.A.C.T. Program in our local school districts. He will also assist the Behavioral Health team in providing adult therapy services in our CCCHC clinics.
Youth Wellness Exams + Sports Physicals: Extended Hours Available
Beginning in June, Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding preventive wellness exams and/or sports physical for children and adolescents needing sports physicals for the 2023-2023 school year. Extended hours are available! When calling your preferred clinic to schedule your youth wellness exam, please indicate if you want a sports physical only. Most insurances cover a wellness/preventive exam that includes a sports physical. If you want a sports physical only, the cost is $40 at the time of the visit.
