LeadLocal is training for aspiring, elected and appointed leaders serving on boards, councils and committees. The training will help participants feel better prepared to serve; recognize components of an effective meeting; understand different personality styles and how they can effectively work together; and use effective tools when dealing with conflict. Behavioral health providers Melissa Herman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Masters Addiction Counselor and Talitha Schnaidt, Licensed Profession Counselor took part in an extensive training program through The Maiberger Institute based out of Boulder, Colorado.
