Expanding Access: New Grant Enhances Telehealth and Behavioral Health Services

Telehealth services at the four locations of Coal Country Community Health Center is expected to improve and expand soon thanks to a new grant and project plan that was awarded in association with the University of Minnesota. Beulah, Hazen, Center and Killdeer’s health centers will be able to add additional behavioral health staff and offer coordination of behavioral health services back to the patient’s primary care provider, according to Talitha Schnaidt, CCCHC’s director of behavioral health services.

Community Flu Clinics

Peak flu season is right around the corner! A yearly flu vaccine is the first and most important step in protecting against flu viruses. Everyone 6 months or older should get an annual flu vaccine. Check out the schedule below. We ask that you call to schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are welcome. Please bring all insurance cards including Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled flu clinic dates, flu vaccines are available Monday through Friday during regular clinic hours.

Youth Wellness Exams + Sports Physicals

Beginning in July, Coal Country Community Health Center will be holding preventive wellness exams and/or sports physical for children and adolescents needing sports physicals for the 2024-2025 school year. Extended hours are available! When calling your preferred clinic to schedule your youth wellness exam, please indicate if you want a sports physical only. Most insurances cover a wellness/preventive exam that includes a sports physical. If you want a sports physical only, the cost is $40 at the time of the visit.
