September is National Recovery Month

Family Game Night

Join CCCHC is celebrating National Recovery Month! You are invited to a family game night at Beulah Civic Center on Friday, Sept 13 from 6:00‐9:00 p.m. Bring the family for a fun evening filled with education, games and snacks.

Closed Labor Day

All CCCHC Clinics will be closed Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day. We will open regular hours on Tuesday, September 3rd. Have a safe holiday weekend!

Profile by Sanford is coming to Hazen

Profile by Sanford will be offering a FREE introductory session in Hazen on Tuesday, September 10th, 5:30 p.m. in the Sakakawea Medical Center Conference Room. The session is free and open to the public and will cover program basics and discuss options for offering the program locally. Profile by Sanford provides nutrition, activity, and lifestyle coaching to help members lose weight and keep the weight off.

Turning 65 Medicare Basics

Join us in Beulah for a Medicare Basics informational session. The session will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Friday, August 23rd at Coal Country Community Health Center — Beulah Clinic Conference Room; preregistration is requested. National Breastfeeding Month

Breastfeeding is a vital component of sustainable development and a critical component to end malnutrition. Custer Health provides a number of resources that can help give you the confidence and support that many new moms need to breastfeed. Well Child Checks

Are you on track? Coal Country Community Health Center is offering backpacks filled with summer fun! Children ages 3‐6 years old must complete their Well Child Check in the month of August or September to receive a backpack. Call to schedule an appointment for your child at any of the CCCHC Clinic locations!

August is National Immunization Awareness Month

Immunization, or vaccination, helps prevent dangerous and sometimes deadly diseases. To stay protected against serious illnesses like the flu, measles, and pneumonia, adults need to get their shots – just like kids do. Diabetes Prevention Program

This FREE 26 session program offers a Lifestyle Coach who will guide you on weight loss, increasing your physical activity and making small lifestyle changes that are proven to reduce the development of diabetes. Color Run/Walk

Join us in Center on Saturday, August 10th during the Oliver County Fair for a Color Run/Walk! The run/walk begins at 9:00 AM. Registration forms are located at Coal Country Community Health Center. $20/per adult, $15/ages 6‐12 and ages 5 and under: FREE. Registration fee includes Oliver County Fair Pass for Saturday.
